Santoreggia Infusion

The herb of love and good cusine. Santoreggia is a plant from the family "lamiaceae" that has been appreciated since the old age for its aromatic and medicinal  properties. It used to be considered aphrosidiac. It is found along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.
Santoreggia is also called pepper herb or anchovy herb, and its aroma can be mistaken for thyme and lemon. It can be combined with meat, fish, vegetables and legumes. Try in on any type of omelette, on grilled "scamorza" (smoked cheese), and grilled vegetables. Another great use of santoreggia, given its balsamic properties, is in cocktails and herbal tea.
